March is Autism Awareness Month & Sexual Assault Awareness & Prevention Month
Purpose: Autism Awareness-Shifting from "awareness" to "acceptance" ensures autistic individuals are valued, respected, and included in all facets of society. Commitment to advancing research, expanding resources, improving school support, and providing opportunities for individuals on the spectrum.
Sexual Assault Awareness & Prevention-This year's theme, “25 Years Stronger: Looking Back, Moving Forward,” celebrates the resilience of survivors and the communities that have worked for change.
Studies have shown that Multisystemic Therapy (MST), an evidence-based intervention, can significantly improve mental health outcomes for at-risk youth and their families. By addressing the root causes of their behavior, such as trauma, family conflict, and social isolation, MST can promote positive mental health and well-being.
